ICC Student wins 7th Place

            Interface Computer College Manila and Caloocan joined the 38th National Milo Marathon Finals held December 13, 2014 at the SM Mall of Asia grounds as part of the 50th Year Anniversary of MILO Philippines.

Marathon            A total of 19,242 registered runners participated the marathon sponsored by Timex, the Bayview Park Hotel Manila, ASICS, Lenovo, Manila Bulletin and Gatorade, together with the endorsements from the Department of Education, Philippine Sports Commission and the Philippine Olympic Committee.


            For joining the marathon, students, faculty and admin officials of ICC Manila and Caloocan contributed to the MILO’s “Help Gives Shoes” advocacy which gives new pair of running shoes to the youth.

             Fatima Peñano, a 2nd year Diploma in Tourism and Travel Management Services student of ICC Manila won 7th Place in the 5K Women Category. She finished the five-kilometer run in 24 minutes and 27 seconds. She won a medal, certificate and a cash prize.

            Peñano, a former track and field player in high school, once again showcased the competitiveness of Interfacers that made the ICC proud.
