ICC Manila students cancelled their scheduled Christmas Party for a good cause: to give way to Operation Tulong: Bagyo Sa Bicol in terms of relief goods donations to the victims of the typhoon-stricken Bicol Region.  

           Spearheaded by NSTP students through the stewardship of Mrs. Manganti, the money alloted for the said party however small, will be doled out to help support the noble mission of the students of ICC Manila to donate relief goods like biscuits, canned goods, noodles, rice and used clothings. 

           In coordination with HOPE Worldwide Philippines, a non-governmental organization (NGO), the students will finally have the first-hand experience of handing over the packed goods on December 16, 2006 at 10:00am at the Multi-Purpose Hall of ICC Manila. There will be a short program of activity before the final hand over of goods like introduction of HOPE, its vision and mission.

           For these students, this could be their best gift that they could offer this Christmas Season to the victims of the said tragedy. Students are all happy helping other needy and less-fortunate people as they relive and set a good example of the adage that says: "real happiness comes from giving and not from receiving". We all agree to that!
