EMERGENCY-READY was tested during Davao Earthquake

         Davao Region experienced a 5.8-magnitude earthquake last September 9, 2019, at 1:39 pm.

          The tremor was felt in the afternoon as the regular session of the classes were abruptly ended. The students together with the teachers and the staff evacuated immediately outside to perform necessary safety precautions right after the shaking.

          Interfacers, along with its neighborhood, were calm and equipped during the overall procedures resulting to zero casualties. Then, the classes shortly resumed as there was no heavy damage and building cracks reported.

          This incident tested the emergency preparedness of the ICC-Davao city campus. Hence, the students together with the staff and their teachers did the safety precautions of duck, cover and hold. Thankfully, there were no casualties reported.
