“A Catalyst for Creativity: Magical Melodies and Literary Legends at Litmus 2024”

Interface Computer College, Iloilo Campus— concluded its annual Lit Mus event last May 30, 2024. The Sta. Teresita Parish Prayer Center in Iloilo City became the vibrant epicenter of creativity and talent as it hosted the Literary, Musical, and Speech Contest 2024. The event, themed "Alohomora: Unleashing the spellbinding magic of talent and creativity; celebrating ingenuity," showcased the exceptional skills of the students, who were grouped according to their Hogwarts houses. 

The House of Gryffindor, led by Team Manager Mr. Gideon Z. Gailo and Ranskie A. Baisa, impressed the audience with their dynamic performances. Their entries reflected a blend of courage and creativity, staying true to the house’s renowned spirit.

The House of Slytherin, managed by Mrs. Rosela A. Rojo and Ms. Joan A. Soldevilla, delivered presentations marked by their strategic and refined approach. Their performances resonated with a touch of cunning and ambition, aligning perfectly with their house's reputation.

The House of Ravenclaw, under the guidance of Mr. John Vincent C. Camral and Mr. Paul E. Alidron, dazzled the audience with their intellectual and artistic prowess. Their entries were a testament to their house's commitment to knowledge and creativity.

Lastly, the House of Hufflepuff, managed by Ms. Richelle K. Magsico and Lemy V. Borreros, showcased a heartfelt and inclusive spirit. Their performances were characterized by a strong sense of community and perseverance.

The day was filled with captivating storytelling, enchanting melodies, and inspiring performances that left the audience spellbound. Students from Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and Slytherin showcased their unique talents and creativity in a way that truly captured the magic of the event.

The event was a tremendous success, thanks to the outstanding leadership of School  Administrator Ms. Sylvia A. Villarosa and the committed faculty. Their steadfast support and motivation fueled the students' enthusiasm, enabling them to fully showcase their talents and creativity. With the contributions of the student government officers and numerous organizations, the day turned out to be truly remarkable.

Before the sun set, the day concluded with a stunning display, ending with the announcement of winners from various literary and musical contests. Slytherin emerged victorious to secure first place overall, but Hufflepuff's consistent and remarkable performance throughout the event earned them the esteemed title of overall champion.

The event was a resounding success, celebrating the spellbinding magic of talent and creativity from each house. The competition not only highlighted individual skills but also fostered a sense of unity and camaraderie among the participants.
