ILOILO CITY — Interface Computer College - Iloilo joyfully celebrated its Acquaintance Party 2025 with the theme “Pagtililipon kag Pagsinadya” on September 27, 2025, at the Iloilo Grand Hotel. The event served as a warm welcome to freshmen and transferees, promoting friendship and unity within the ICC community.

The day was filled with aesthetic vibes and elegant old-money style outfits as faculty members, staff, and students walked down the grand red carpet entrance, showcasing their finest attire and brightest smiles. The program began with the solemn entrance of the ICC color guards, followed by a prayer and the singing of the National Anthem, symbolizing respect and unity.

The celebration officially opened with the welcome remarks from Ms. Sylvia Villarosa, LPT, School Administrator, who expressed her heartfelt greetings to all INTERFACErs, especially the new members of the ICC family. To start the day’s entertainment, first-year students from various departments collaborated for an energetic intermission dance number, showcasing their talents and enthusiasm.

Throughout the event, INTERFACErs actively participated in fun games and activities that strengthened their bonds and created lasting friendships. The occasion also highlighted the proclamation of new Club and Organization Officers, Departmental Officers, and the Student Government Council.

A significant moment in the celebration was the passing of the Key of Responsibility from former Student Governor Mr. Raymond Trevilegio to the newly elected Student Governor, Ms. Lean Rebadomia, along with her officers. Mr. Trevilegio delivered a heartfelt message during his final service in the council:
“As I close this chapter, I do so with pride, knowing that I gave my heart to this role. And as I pass on the responsibilities to the next set of leaders, I hope they will continue the vision, the dedication, and the passion that we have started. May they also learn that leadership is not measured by titles, but by the positive impact we leave behind,” he said.

The symbolic key represented the trust, leadership, and commitment that the new officers will uphold in continuing ICC’s legacy of excellence.
The former Student Government officers also received a certificate of appreciation for their commitment to service and dedication to the ICC community.

Adding more excitement, the Interest Club delivered a vibrant dance performance that ignited energy and entertainment among the crowd. One of the highlights of the day was the on-the-spot fashion show entitled Mr. and Ms. ICC Maanyag 2025, where representatives from various departments — BSBA, BSOA, BSIT, BSCpE/COE, and SHS — showcased elegance, confidence, and charisma on stage. The BSBA Department proudly took home this year’s Mr. and Ms. ICC Maanyag 2025 titles.

Creativity also shone through the Video Spoof Making Contest, where students from all departments presented their humor and artistry on screen, proving how talented and competitive INTERFACErs truly are. Winners from different games and contests were also recognized and awarded for their participation and excellence.

For the closing part of the program, Ms. Joan Soldevilla, Student Government Adviser, delivered her closing remarks, extending gratitude to everyone who contributed to the event’s success and to all students who actively participated.

The day concluded with the heartfelt singing of the ICC Hymn, symbolizing pride, honor, and unity as one Interface Computer College family.

The Acquaintance Party 2025 was more than just a day of fun and fashion; it was a celebration of togetherness, friendship, and school spirit. It embodied the true essence of being an INTERFACEr — connected, committed, and united in the pursuit of excellence and camaraderie.
