ICC ACQUAINTANCE AND WELCOMING PARTY 2024

On October 30, 2024, Interface Computer College held its annual Acquaintance Party at Sta. Terisita, treating students to a full day of festivities that strengthened friendships, showcased talents, and created lasting memories. Organized with attention to detail, the event was a vibrant celebration of community and camaraderie that unfolded in the bright hours of the day, making the most of a lively, sunlit atmosphere.
The event kicked off with a meaningful Mass that set an uplifting tone for the day. Students, faculty, and staff joined together in reflection and gratitude. The event was formally opened with a welcome address by Ms. Jessa Tayo and Mr. Jomar Lamayo presenting the students, faculty and staff, and welcoming the Grade 11 senior high school and First Year college freshmen students. Then followed by the oath-taking ceremony of the newly elected Student Government officers. The ceremony highlighted the students' commitment to leadership and responsibility, inspiring attendees and reminding them of their shared goals and values.
After the solemn oath-taking ceremony The event highlights the series of exciting games organized by the interest club. Students showcasing their competitive spirit, teamwork and strategic skills.
The most awaited event of this acquaintance party, the "Mr. & Ms. AKWE 2024" pageant. Representing various departments, candidates captivated the audience with their talent, elegance, and charisma. From dynamic dance routines to expressive lyrical performances, each participant displayed their unique abilities, and intelligence making the competition a truly engaging spectacle. The crowds gonewild supporting and cheering for their candidates. After much anticipation, the BSIT department took the titles of Mr. & Ms. AKWE 2024, a well-deserved recognition of their exceptional performances and dedication.
Throughout the day, intermission acts added color and energy to the program. Students showcased their skills through singing, dancing, and spoken word poetry, with each performance sparking cheers and applause from the audience. These acts not only entertained but also provided a platform for students to express their creativity and individuality, further enhancing the event’s joyful atmosphere.
The success of the Acquaintance Party 2024 was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the organizers, who ensured that each part of the day ran smoothly. Their commitment allowed students to fully enjoy the experience, fostering connections and celebrating as one community. The bright and lively environment added to the event’s charm, emphasizing the unity and enthusiasm of all participants.
