Iloilo City, January 27, 2024 – The streets of Iloilo City came alive with energy and festivity as the annual Iloilo Dinagyang Mardi Gras Parade of Sponsors brought color, music, and dance to the heart of the city. Participants, including students from various schools, showcased their talents in street dancing, representing their institutions with pride and enthusiasm. Despite the challenges of fatigue and the rigorous preparation leading up to the event, the students’ spirits remained high. Their hard work and dedication paid off, with many expressing deep satisfaction over their performance. One participant shared, "It was tiring, but  everything is all worth it."

December 12, 2023, Interface Computer College in Western Visayas recently hosted a seminar on HIV/AIDS education, highlighting the importance of understanding the disease and tackling the stigma surrounding it.

Team Dugong Bughaw launched their flagship program, "High Five," during the seminar, aiming to eliminate discrimination and promote awareness.

Fire Drill

On this day of December 5, 2023, Interface Computer College held a highly anticipated event: an orientation, a fire drill, and a simulation to enhance the preparedness skills of our students. The participation of the Bureau of Fire's fire officers added significance to the occasion, as they were able to assess and provide feedback on the school's performance.

Touching Lives through Values Education

   The Interface Computer College of Davao conducted a simple yet conscious effort activity through the Values Education Seminar & Workshop. It entails good values and integrity. The Junior High School and Senior High School students participated in the said activity.

TESDA Orientation and Re-echo on the Evaluation of PQF Level 5 Programs

            The institutionalization of the Philippine Qualifications' Framework (PQF) in 2012, thru Executive Order No. 83, established a coherent national and internationally benchmarked structure for all qualifications awarded in the Philippines. The PQF, which encourages lifelong learning, is a quality-assured national system for the development, recognition, and award of qualifications based on the standards of knowledge, skills and, values acquired in different ways and methods by learners and workers educated/trained in the Philippines.

·                   It has been a wonderful experience for these extraordinary learners as they honed their skills in bread and pastry production.  Through the Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) of TESDA, Interface Computer College – Manila Campus obtained a 100% passing rate in the recently held Bread and Pastry Production NC II competency assessment facilitated by Chef Sarah L. Campugan.

Strengthening Campus Journalism

          Interface Computer College-Davao City campus strengthen once again its campus journalism through conducting a Campus Journalism and Web Content Writing Workshop last September 11, 2019

EMERGENCY-READY was tested during Davao Earthquake

         Davao Region experienced a 5.8-magnitude earthquake last September 9, 2019, at 1:39 pm.

          The tremor was felt in the afternoon as the regular session of the classes were abruptly ended. The students together with the teachers and the staff evacuated immediately outside to perform necessary safety precautions right after the shaking.

Career Guidance at Iloilo National High School

            Interface Computer College, Iloilo, Inc. was part of the Career Guidance of Iloilo National High School last October 28, 2019. It was spearheaded by Ms. Recy Beth Escopel (Guidance in-charge) and Mr. Gino Dating (Marketing Officer). They have also organized an exhibit and were part of the talk to all Grade 12 learners.
