On June 25, 2024, the Interface Computer College, Iloilo Campus, Room 304-306 erupted into a dynamic nexus of opportunity, with hundreds of students converging for the highly anticipated annual Career Fair. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement and ambition as eager students prepared to engage with a diverse array of employers, each poised to shape their professional futures.
Representatives from PESO (City and Province) played a pivotal role, offering invaluable guidance on navigating the regional job market. Their booth became a magnet for students seeking expert advice on resume building, interview preparation, and understanding the employment landscape.
The BPO sector made a strong showing, with leading companies promoting a variety of roles, from customer service to technical support. Students were spoilt for choice, discovering numerous opportunities suited to their diverse skills and interests.
A key highlight of the event was a series of workshops led by experienced professionals. They covered important topics like communication skills and time management. These sessions were filled with eager participants, ready to learn practical tips and ask thoughtful questions.
The atmosphere was lively as students networked, shared ideas, and showed their skills to potential employers. The room buzzed with conversations, laughter, and cheers as some students landed interviews and even job offers on the spot.
